Don't Judge ...Feel !

"I don't care what you say" ....is an often used phrase in today's world and yet most of the people are so eager to know what others think and feel about them .Other's conceptions and misconceptions about our actions, speech, thoughts and emotions form an integral part of our self worth and further self analysis .
Since a major portion of our waking life and our communication happens online through mails , chats , whats app messages, most of it is based on what we come to know through colored reflections , refraction and filters of internet communication .These are both incomplete and grossly inaccurate .
It is dangerous to build the image of a living and thriving human being solely based on internet communication .If more than 70% of complete human communication (content sent to content received in real life ) is through non verbal means ,gestures, tonality, accentuation and disposition,we can hardly get to know a person online .And if we think , we know someone , it is probably our impression of him/her .In most of the cases, it is a superimposition of what we would like to see the person as .
This is also the reason for largely reported cases of real life failures of online relations .
This brings us to another important question and that is how much of our conscious mind and emotions are filled with internet based connections and interactions ? How much of our belief systems, value sets and paradigms of life are built by the inputs we get from our virtual life ?
And if it be so ...are we approximating, oversimplifying and truncating people personalities solely based on these observations ? Can people be actually different from what they seem to be ? Are we unfair to people in making certain impressions of them ?
A complex web of friendships , acquaintances with numerous interactions woven over the platform of world wide web ....seems to be hell of a big illusion ...
Is it time to get real ??

End of Absence

Absence, distance and time are nature's ways of maintaining the intensity and freshness in relationships. Remember the time we waited for weeks for a post card of a close relative ? Or the time we waited for months for our relatives to visit us . Or the tears we shed for those who were so far away from us, that if we wished to talk to them that very moment it was impossible .Frustrating distance ! Technology almost destroyed this long wait except when the person is no more . Now people are available at the click of the mouse . Just press a key on the phone and the person can be reached even if he is far across the seven seas . This has however led to some other problems in modern civilizations."End of Absence " and "Over Presence" . At any point of time you can see hundreds of glowing contacts that can be contacted the very next micro second ,but you don't because they are always there .They are all just there . Always Available ! Seldom anyone of them wishes to engage in a real life , fresh connect .Does over presence make us less wanted ? and Less valuable ? I have always tried to treat net presence the same way as real presence . Netiquettes should not be different from etiquette as finally we are dealing with human beings . End of absence has also led to people losing some beautiful gifts of god ."Solitude , Day dreaming , reflection and contemplation " necessary for all of us to constantly be in touch with our innermost selves . Some how my current reflections on online communication resonates so much with this pod cast .

Love thyself first !

Every morning when I get up and check my Facebook updates ,I see at least 2-3 posts of heart break Some one is hurt . Some is craving for love and care from a beloved who no more cares and has found a more entertaining engagement .Some one who is humiliated by neglect or someone who wants to send his message to that one person through a public Facebook post reminding of his/her promises .

My heart goes out to these friends of mine . I wish I could devote more time and nurse their wounds of love .It is a tragedy of our civilization that a child is never taught self respect and self love .He then grows up to feed his self worth on other's opinion of him .

Never give your soul to someone so easily that he can play with it . Never give so much power in the hands of anyone , that he can hurt you infinitely .

I feel the greatest thing for a human being to do is to achieve self fulfillment and not to hanker after approvals and validations of people around him . Read works of great people , sing and dance , pray , study , write ,paint , play with kids . Do everything that makes you happy . Give up everything that makes you weak . And if this was the recipe of a happy and fulfilled life than embellish it with the love for the almighty .

His constant remembrance is the best sweetener of life . The lord of this universe is the only one , worth surrendering your mind body and soul to.

Adieu to the accidental Prime Minister and the oldest political party of India !

End of the era of senility ,weakness and ear deafening silence . Of selling oneself and one's self respect to a powerful dynasty.End of the age of empty growth statistics, hurled at millions of hungry, half clad faces who saw only one change ,things moving from bad to worse. End of the age of  helplessness when  colleagues plundered on the national exchequer and the leader could do nothing but say to his secretary "This is how democracy works ". of showcasing degrees from world renowned universities but proving it by examples that erudite scholars can be miserable failures, when it comes to governance ,implementation and assertive leadership .

End of the age of IITians ,MITians ,Harvardians crawling at the feet of dumb youthfulness .Of tolerating and glorifying cabinet decisions, being torn into pieces as acts of vision and honesty .

But I do not write you off ...Oh ..the oldest party . I still see hope for you .I still see some sparks of great leadership and altruism in some of your leaders .I am a small man and you are mighty, powerful and astute politicians . What can I advice you ? Here are some of my thoughts on what you should do now on .

Make your party free of dynasty . Let the true leadership hidden and suppressed in the ranks of your party surface .

Never Never Never take people for granted .

Be a constructive opposition force . Bring out real issues .For heavens sake do not disrupt the parliament THE WAY THEY DID .Because when you guys do it , the country loses .

When you criticize someone just for criticisms sake, don't feel you are winning over your opponents . If your criticism is unfair, you end up hurting the people who respect their leaders .

Give up opposition for its sake and bring in synergy . It is by synergy alone that the country can win .

It's time up for debates on secularism . The more you use it, the more drubbing you will get . People are neither interested, nor foolish, not to understand the evil designs of using secularism as a tool for political gains .

Do not divide the society on the basis of  religion ,caste and creed . Because when people meet and work with each other , we do not even think of it . I do not think of someone to be a Muslim or a Christian . For me he is my dear friend irrespective of what faith he follows. There are only two castes in India . The rich and the poor .

Be positive and have hopes. The very people who dumped you will support you if you are true to them and most importantly if you are true to yourself .

All the best for 2019.
